Whether you start off with a flask of warm sake or a detoxifying Gun Powder Green Tea, there is a wide selection of drinks to suit all tastes.
At Bauhinia there are 3 draught beers, including Sunlik, Hong Kong's favourite beer, the Japanese bestseller Kirin Ichiban and Heineken, a Dutch beer from the largest brewery in the world.
There is also a wide selection of pan-Asian bottled beerson offer: from Hite - Korea's No. 1 to Bintang, the backpacker's favourite and customers are often surprised to find South-African on the menu.
For those who drive or simply prefer not to drink alcohol, a large selection of exotic fruit juices, icon bottled soft drinks, special gunpowder teas and mineral water will ensure that you will find the perfect drink to accompany your meal.
The cocktail list is Asian-themed, and you should definately try an elegant, violet coloured Lotus Martini for a light aperitif or the Pattaya Beach Iced Tea for a slightly stronger but refreshing alternative.
The wine menu has been carefully selected to compliment the delicious food. The Bauhinia house white is a Sartori Pinot Grigio delle Venezie and the house red is a Concha y toro Merlot from Chile, both at £12.50 a bottle or from £3.50 by the glass. Cattier Premier Cru is the house Champagne.
With over 50 spirits and liqueurs offered in Bauhinia, you can finish your evening with a drink at the bar, leaving you spoiled for choice with a range of all the traditional Western choices but also a selection of far-Eastern specialities, like Wokka sake, Yamazaki Malt Whisky or a Choya Plum liqueur on the rocks.
All spirits are served in 35ml measures unless stated otherwise.
